MOTM - George Boole
It’s only logical ;) that we highlight the contributions of George Boole, born November 2nd, 1815.
Boole approached logic in a new way reducing it to a simple algebra, incorporating logic into mathematics. He also worked on differential equations, the calculus of finite differences and general methods in probability.
Logical statements and outcomes in fields from computer programming to Geometry are called Boolean values, in honor of him.
