Mathematician of the day is Wilhelm Carl Werner Otto Fritz Franz Wien (yes, he had 6 given names. Thanks, mom!)

Born January 13th, 1864, Wien was a contemporary of Einstien and Max Planck. His work earned the admiration of both, and won him the Nobel prize in physics for discovering the proton.
